The National Military Museum on the former airforce base Soesterberg by architects Claus&van Wageningen

In 2015 Kim Zwarts photographed the new National Military Museum on the former airforce base in Soesterberg, the Netherlands.
Without feeling the need to document, Zwarts created over 70 photographs of this immense project, using the context, silence and the absolute refinement of the architecture in contrast with the brutal force of army and airforce power. The series of photographs, commissioned by the architects Felix Claus and Dick van Wageningen, will be published later in 2016.
